My name is Dr. Howard Friedly, and I am half of the Ideal Weight & Health Center team. One day one of my patients, who had recently lost a lot of weight, told me about the Ideal Protein weight loss method. She was very enthusiastic about it, and suggested that I should offer it to my patients.
I researched Ideal Protein and found that it is a method for promoting better health as well as a weight loss plan. I felt that many of my patients could indeed benefit from the Ideal Protein protocol, but I could devote neither the time nor the resources to such an endeavor. As it happened, the patient, Netra, and her husband, Gary, had the resources, and the time. However, they needed a licensed healthcare practitioner to partner with them in order to start an Ideal Protein clinic. So we decided to join forces, and the Ideal Weight & Health Center was born.
Our office is kind of a family affair. My partners, Gary and Netra Backman, are the parents of my receptionist, Kari Backman. It makes for a very warm and friendly atmosphere around here. In addition, we have all struggled with our weight all of our lives, so we are very empathetic to the challenges our clients are going through.
